I'd like for you to meet Roc...aka cousin Roc, Rock-o, Rockefello, or rat dog.
He is Irene and Philip's dog that will soon be joining the Weatherford household. The place that
they found to live in Delaware doesn't allow them to have any pets (and apparently the crazy landlord is apprehensive about children too...ha, the nerve of those yankees!!!) so he will be staying with us until we find him a place to stay. Yeah, right. The reality of this situation is that ever since they decided to make the move and knew they wouldn't be able to take him, Koby and I wanted to keep him. Actually, it's more like we didn't want him to go to some strange people's house and be scared and never be able to see him again. But, we held off until the very end and told Irene and Philip on Sunday that we would gladly take him in. Of course we requested monthly "child support" because he is obviously going to eat us out of house and home! :)
I'm not crazy about having 3 dogs now but I do know that he is great with babies/kids, he can go the whole day without having to be let out, and he really is a sweet dog.
*side note* I woke up at about 12:30 last night and baby Olivia had a bad case of the hiccups. It was so sad!! Maybe I'm a wuss, but I hate the hiccups so I felt terrible that I couldn't do anything about it. I did drink some water which I don't really think made a difference. I told Koby this morning and he jokingly asked, "Did you hold your breath?". He's so funny!

Awwww what a cutie! I'd totally take him cause I have a fabulous backyard but I can't have a dog at this place. :(
Wow! What a cute dog. Is he full grown or still a pup? House trained? Used to living inside or out? Just curious...we happen to have a daughter who loves dogs...not that I've mentioned any of this to Jason...but we both like little dogs (especially the kind that don't dig out of our yard)
PS--It doesn't hurt that his name (Roc) happens to be disc golf related!
HaHa! Koby's never mentioned that about disc golf!
Yes, Roc is an inside dog and he really is sweet around people and around Klowie and Izzy. He actually loves to torment Klowie which I find hilarious!!!
The only thing that I don't like about him is that he isn't very well socialized when it comes to going to the park, on walks, etc...so he'll have to get left behind on those occassions.
I think he's about 5 years old now, I'll have to ask Irene. :)
Cute dog! You know, I didn't figure out that Colt was hiccuping until I was like 35 weeks pregnant! I'd been wondering what that methodical tick was on my left side, when a friend said, "those are hiccups!" Hope they don't bother you too much!
So Baby Olivia (or "Baby Orville," if life throws you an unexpected curve ball...or TWO!) will come home to FIVE loving family members? That's lovely.
Also cool is that when the Delaware Contingent comes to Texas, they'll be able to get to see their favorite canine. Give him a first-class tummy rub from his virtual friends in Abilene!
He is very cute..I just LOVE dogs!! Can't wait to meet him! I had fun this past weekend. I look forward to meeting him when I can FINALLY make it up YOUR way!! :)

Hey Irma! I just found your blog through Erin's. Looks like y'all are doing well and are ready for your baby girl to arrive! Congratulations! Lesley
Hey, would you like two miniature schnauzers?
Hi Irma - it's Abby. I was reading in my "What to Expect..." book and they talked about baby hiccups. They said that the hiccups aren't uncomfortable for babies like they are for adults, so I hope that eases your mind. I think it was in the chapter about the 7th month if you have the book.
